Invisible Children just held an event last weekend called The Rescue. The event, part of a much larger nine-country, 100-city IC event by the same name slated for the end of April, called for a return of Joseph Kony’s child soldiers. Through a student-led peace march, a public debate, speeches by local community leaders, a concert, and a massive screening of Invisible Children’s new documentary that drew an audience of thousands upon thousands, IC is hoping that the government of Uganda will hear the unified call for peace emanating from northern Uganda.
