I just finished uploading a bunch of videos today. These are different videos that I shot at Colegio SEK School over the course of the last month. At the school, English teachers use lots of English songs to get the kids excited about speaking English. Each of the videos below has been added to its respective video project playlist. If you want to watch more videos from the trip, check out the Videos page and browse the videos by project title. Enjoy!
Above: Students sing and dance to Michael Jackson’s song Thriller
Above: In this video, students perform Chile’s national dance, cueca, and explain what the dance represents
Above: With a unique island culture and history, Easter Island is home to the dance shown in this video
Above: Students from one of my 8th grade classes introduce themselves and talk about their interests
Above: It doesn’t get much cuter than this! These three and four-year-olds sing a Christmas tune and more. They are first year English language learners. This video shows you how Colegio SEK teachers use lots of hand gestures to teach students who have never been exposed to English before.

Andre,
Thank you so much for the unbelievably fantastic coverage of your adventures in Chile and Argentina. The hiking and teaching videos were as close to accompanying you as possible. Hooray for 21st century technology and your talented use for our benefit. Your gift of self expression and ability to perfectly share your deep inner thoughts and reactions is the best I’ve ever experienced. Continue to squeeze every drop from the washcloth of life.
