I put a few pictures up from my day trip into San Jose last weekend. The most modern of all the cities I’ve seen so far in Central America, San Jose is the center of the most densely populated area in all of Central and South America. It seems hard to believe that the city holds this title, mainly because it has a relatively small population, but because of the geography–the mountains that surround it act like a fence that keeps development confined–the area is packed with people. I didn’t see too many parts of the city on my first visit, but I’m looking forward to exploring it more in the coming weeks.

AWESOME sculptures of farmers in downtown San Jose

Oh yeah, a bunch of new pics are up from Kamuk School on my Flickr photostream. Check em’ out.
