Week Six Stats

I’m writing this post from the comfort of my friend’s parent’s house in Houston, Texas. Texas! For six weeks I’ve been focusing on trying to make it here before Mike and Patti, two awesome folks I befriended while out in Japan, finished up their visit with Mike’s parents and headed north. I made it here in time and we’ve spent the last three days relaxing, catching up, eating, and playing with their 11-month-old son Kaden. I’ll be pushing off tomorrow (Tuesday) morning.

I found your site because I was parked right next to your bike this afternoon at the Salvation Army store in SW Houston. We were pulling out in our blue minivan as you were coming out of the store. I’m a middle school teacher and wish I could do what you’re doing. Awesome! I’ll keep watching. If you still a campsite in SW Houston, our yard is open!
