Waking Up
Responses
Andrew,
You make a strong case for the value of travel in helping us understand the complex issues of society. In this case, you prove that insensitivity to what actually happened as a result of Hurricane Katrina can only be countered by seeing it first hand — or at least by experiencing it vicariously through narrators like yourself conveying your experiences and the feelings of those you encounter along the way. Keep up the great work! And thanks for sharing.
