Yippeee! Teacher on Two Wheels received its first donation the other day!
$50!!
Based on what I’ve been spending each day, that equates to a week’s worth of food! Thank you!
I set up a secure way for people to make donations to the project using PayPal, eBay’s preferred money transfer service. Once you make a donation, you will have the option of leaving a comment. Please let me know how you’d like your donation to be used:
Toward general trip expenses OR Toward a monetary gift for a specific school (more info on this option once I make my first long-ish stop at a school in Costa Rica)
Haven’t thrown a few bucks to a positive cause in a while? Just won the lottery and don’t know how to spend all that cash? Looking for a good birthday gift for your 95-year-old grandmother? Look no further! Click the graphic below, it’s easy as pie.
In other news, I’ve made a few small changes to the website. There are some new additions to the sidebar on the right side of the screen. For those of you who are into the RSS thing, you can click on the RSS button to get my feed. Or, if email is your cup of tea, you can subscribe to my blog via email updates. I’ve also added a separate Donation page at the top of the main page so people will always be able to find donation info if they need it
I’m writing this post from the comfort of a soft bed in a purrrty house in Macon, Georgia.
Georgia!
My stomach is stuffed with food from the BBQ/bonfire I attended earlier tonight. More on that (with some pictures) later–it’s late.
I hope everyone is well!
Andrew
